The answer is--YES! I love my Brother Model PT-65 Label Maker. It is the perfect size, easy to use and doesn't talk back. Now if it only did laundry...This is the green divided folder I put together for Kyle to take to Hopkins. It is my thin veiled attempt at managing him from a distance. Hopefully it will help him keep important papers where he can find them. The challenge is getting him to actually put the papers in the green file. There's only so much a mother can do.
We decided to go bare bones (packing). We figure he can buy what he needs once there. We did buy a thin comforter at IKEA (called SNO--I love the names they come up with) and a new cover for it. The other night we weeded out his closet and decided he doesn't need any more t-shirts.
Things he's taking:
1. I ordered a bunch friends and family pictures from iPhoto. He can hang them on the wall or put
them in a drawer.
2. His electric guitar and amp
3. 20 pairs of boxers
4 Extra contacts
5. Hangers
6. Copies of his birth certificate, immunizations and health insurance card, a family contact list,
10 thank you cards and stamps
